Day 5: Gathering Small
Gathering Small
One of the greatest things we can learn about from the life of Jesus is the power of spending time with a small group of people. Jesus spent time with the masses, but He had 12 people that He poured His life into. Being a part of a smaller group can bring much fulfillment and purpose to our lives. The group encourages one another, prays for one another, studies God’s Word together, serves together, has fun together, and helps each other stay connected to Jesus.
Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm. – Proverbs 13:20
Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. – Galatians 6:2
It’s easy to simply attend church without making true connections with others. However in today’s encouragement, we talk about the many benefits of gathering together in groups to support one another along your spiritual journey.
