Wow, you’ve just made the decision to become a follower of Jesus! You have recognized that you are a sinner in need of a Savior, and this is where healing & freedom starts! You just said “yes” to freedom, to forgiveness, to the love of God, and you said yes to Heaven and being adopted into God’s family! This changes everything for you!

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16

We are beginning a journey of connecting with Jesus that will eventually make us whole and healed! You have stepped into a brand new life in Jesus! How amazing is that? Jesus Himself tells us how to begin living this life of health, healing, wholeness and fulfillment:

“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. – John 15:4-5

What Jesus is saying is that all of life comes back to our connection to Him. Being a Christian is bigger than a prayer we pray; it’s a life we live! God begins to do a healing work in our heart and it takes our life in a new direction.

Write out some things that you hope, pray and expect to change as a result of your new connection to Jesus. Put that list somewhere that you will see it daily and can pray about it.
