2. What will happen on my first visit?
We know that some people want to visit the church and “be anonymous” for a bit, while others want to meet some people and ask some questions! All of that is fine with us! Come in, enjoy the friendly atmosphere, fill out a connect card if you’d like more information, and swing by “The Hub” for some welcoming conversations & resources!
3. What do I wear to attend your services?
You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our Weekend services. Come in what is comfortable for you!
4. Where are you located?
One Church is one church in multiple locations in Ripon, Modesto, Riverbank, and Turlock. For service times and addresses, click Locations on the home page.
5. What about my children?
At One Church, your children are a top priority. Our Kids Ministry area is a clean, safe, and creative environment your kids will love! Our teachers are vetted and background checked, and kids will learn about the Bible and have fun! We have ministry available for nursery through 6th grade on Sundays, and our Youth Ministry meets throughout the week.
6. How can I meet others and get connected?
There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by joining us for our upcoming Welcome Huddle! These happen monthly, for a few minutes right after service, and gives you a chance to meet the staff, the ministries, and other families in the church. Groups are another way to get connected- we have many different groups that happen throughout the week and is the best way to build friendships and grow in faith.
7. How can I get involved in a group?
Groups are an important part of One Church; in fact, you haven’t fully experienced the church until you have experienced our groups ministry. Groups typically run in 3 different semesters (Spring, Summer, Fall). You can find more information about the groups available by visiting our ONLINE DIRECTORY.
8. Will the preaching be live or on video?
The preaching is live! Our Lead Pastors are Pastors Kyle & Marcia Bethke. However each location has it’s own Campus Pastors and Ministry Directors who lead that congregation. Each week, the Campus Pastor preaches live, and each campus has a style and personality. Many times throughout the year, all campuses will come together for worship nights, conferences, business meetings, and other special events.
