Special Guest Kathy Escobar

February 8, 2015

On February 8, One Church welcomes Kathy Escobar.

Meet the pastor and author Rachel Held Evans describes as her “friend and a true ‘woman of valor.'”

Kathy serves as co-pastor of The Refuge, an eclectic beautiful faith community in North Denver, CO. She is author of the newly released Faith Shift: Finding Your Way Forward When Everything You Believe is Falling Apart.

Kathy juggles five kids & an awesome husband who has a bunch of jobs, too. She describes herself as an advocate for friends in hard places, a trained spiritual director (one who’s a little on the loud side) & as someone who loves to teach and facilitate events, workshops, and groups. She writes a little, hangs out with people a lot, and teaches college classes online because missional living doesn’t pay the bills.

Kathy is most passionate about community, the marginalized, healing, spiritual transformation, equality, justice, “church”, relationships, diversity, and learning to love and be loved.

Join us, and invite friends, to hear Kathy Escobar on February 8.
