Frank is the son of Francis and Edith Schaeffer, who gained worldwide fame in the 1970s as leaders of the Religious Right. Frank left the conservative evangelical movement in the late 1980s and has since helped countless others in their struggle with faith and doubt.
He is a much sought after speaker and has lectured at a wide range of venues from Harvard’s Kennedy School to the Hammer Museum/UCLA, Princeton University, Riverside Church Cathedral, and DePaul University. Frank has been interviewed numerous times on CNN, MSNBC, NPR, the Today Show and by Oprah.
