If you were to take a selfie of your entire life (everything you say and do, your choices, your character) would you like what you see?
The philosopher Socrates said, “The unexamined life is not worth living.”
Anyone who wants to follow Jesus is regularly challenged to pray with the Psalmist:
“Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.” (Psalm 139v23-24)
We regularly see what happens when influential people lack character. A person can have the best of intentions, but a single character flaw dashes hopes and hurts families. Perhaps you have been hurt by someone who lied or someone who was disloyal. You thought the person was trustworthy, but unfortunately, you found out otherwise.

During Selfie: No Filter, we will have the opportunity to pray, “God search me” and examine our lives so that we can more fully grow into the person God created us to be. God loves us as we are, and God loves us too much to leave us as we are.
Beginning November 2, join us for Selfie: No Filter.
